Understanding production companies and their logos

A production company is an organisation that produces content for media consumers. Whether it's a film, commercial, music video, radio or even a video game, there is always a production entity behind it.

Film production companies significantly make producing content easier by facilitating all of the essential tasks needed to create a feature film. Such tasks involve market research, casting, camera equipment, editing and so much more.

Such companies often have motion picture companies that they work with and distributors that they rely on. They are also distinguishable from one another due to their logos. Their logos are often catchy and memorable, fitting the genre and aesthetic of the films that they produce.

From Walt Disney to CBS we see production companies at the beginning of every feature film, except for indie (independent) ones. Therefore, for my film I want to have a production company attached to it. This will help engage a higher audience and generate more profit in the real world. Yet it will also allow for my film to be of higher quality with a specific budget and timeline to depend on.

In my opening scene, I want my production company to reflect the films that are produced under it; I want it to fit the theme of my film and its narrative. Consequently, I will try to find the name and design for it closer to the post-production process.
